fresh face

At least to me he is, I hadn't noticed this particular boy before. Which to me is weird, he has everything I like in a male model. Fits perfect in the row of earlier posted boys. Twenty year old Ethan James from Great Rapids, is signed with Ford Models in New York. He has a smooth face and the potential to become one of the bigger names next to the likes of Cole Mohr, Robbie Wadge and Josh Beech. At least I think he fits te picture.
Some of his latest eds. are:
I really like this one! From Teen vogue

All he needs are some more tattoos if you ask me

And one with all time fav. =)

I am a diamond

I've discovered this on the Radioacitve Flesh facebook!
everybody become a fan!

so we have this beautiful violent earth
not completely coincidental: the video stars fav. Cole Mohr <3

it's better than the Ramsblood family band

theramsbloodfamilyband
now excuse while I go and watch some horrible ugly b-zombie-horror-movies

it makes dawn of the dead look like mary poppins, at least that's what the gory, not that watchable trailer says...
Redneck Zombies trailer
Well, I'm laughing, so it has achieved something.
It's like the week of idiot movies, last sunday I was watching the Stephen King based movie 1408, I've seen uncomprehensive stuff but this kinda was a big joke to me. Making no sense at all it was one of the worst Stephen King adaptions ever... why mr. King? You don't have to do it for the money now, please stop giving license to this kind off crap. Other than that you rule.
Who doesn't remember being extremely scared of a dressed op Tim Curry, and I'm not talking about his Rocky Horror Picture Show transgendered transvestite role, but his incredible interpretation of Pennywise the dancing Clown!
Pennywise
He scared me sooooo bad, being a little kid sitting between my parents on the couch in pyamas, not wanting to go to bed, because of the fear of a big laughing clown trying to eat me.

Mr. King <3
love his short stories! way better than the books.
Just after sunset
After all, I'm just a geeky horror sci-fi fan.
When is comicon coming to Holland? I'll be the first in line, costume and everything!

feeling artistic.

can anyone explain gimp to me, I keep trying to make cool things but they all end up bluh-ish

I'm terribly late, I know

the xx
Crystalised acoustic
they are so awesome in their normalness and the peace their music exhales is one I hope to find someday.
I discovered them about a year ago when they were featured in Nylon. Read the interview and listened to some tracks, but never really explored more.
But they amaze me everytime, I hope to see them live very soon!
Islands

I like how they aren't even trying to be some cool band. They are just that, and it's awesome!

the artist is present

live stream the artist is present

in the link above you can stream the performance of ' the artist is present' by Marina Abramovic in the museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City. I haven't seen much of it, but it seems she is sitting in a chair and as a visitor you can sit with her. There are people lining up too.

Now I don't know much about modern art or performance art, it never really attracted me much. But this show makes me curious about other work of Abramovic She seems to be very close to her audience, but I guess most performance artists are.  I looked up some pictures of her work and they are really nice. Maybe I should get into modern art more =)
8 lessons on emptiness with a happy end

this reminds me a bit of the art for arts sake movement from the fin the siecle in the late 1800s

and I even find this one a little intriguing, strangely..
I would love to go to the MoMA and see the exhibition. Last year I only went to the Gugenheim which had it's temporary exhibition about the architect of the building, it was interesting, but I just don't really have a thing for buildings..

Well he is still modeling thank God! Not like other favourite Ash Stymest who seems is too busy being a host on MTV bang to model... He did some great F/W 10/11 shows: FE Dior Homme ( how could he not? He looks like a Dior boy to me..) (Picture above is from the Dior show)

He was also booming in New York fashion week, doing shows for Patrick Ervell, Marc Jacobs  and DKNY ( to name a few, he did a stunning 9 shows!)
And a gorgeous editorial for w magazine:

together with other fav Cole Mohr:

by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot

That was a fun 15 minutes I spent on looking through all those pics =D

fashion against aids

Ever since I've laid my eyes on this campaign, I can't wait for it to hit the stores!
Some favourites:

Male model Josh Beech really steals the show in most of the photos. Love these sunglasses:
the bracelets, the shorts, I see myself lying in meadows, sun on my head listening to some music with a beer in my hand. And: they also have tents and sleepingbags with leopard prints! Tent goes for 20 euros, I'll be in line when this hits the stores!
